Fountain Design
This theoretical fountain design was inspired by a clay model created during an architectural design studio course. The project began as a physical study of form and evolved into a series of conceptual illustrations exploring geometry, gathering spaces, and public interaction. The design focuses on creating a central visual element while also encouraging people to engage with the surrounding space.
At the center of the design is a pyramid-shaped fountain structure that acts as the primary focal point. Surrounding the fountain are stepped seating tiers arranged in the form of a rounded eight-pointed star. These layered platforms provide informal seating areas where visitors can gather, rest, and interact while remaining connected to the movement and sound of the water.
The goal of the project was to create a fountain that functions as both a sculptural centerpiece and a social space. The geometric layout was intended to give the design a strong visual identity while also creating a sense of openness and accessibility for the people using the space.
